This denotes that a refrigerator is 9 to 10% more energy efficient than the federal standard.

Before starting your quest, you’ll want to measure the height, depth and width of the refrigerator space. An extra inch or two on both sides is always a good precaution to take. Another important note to consider is the range of your refrigerator door. You’ll want to make sure it clears all counter space and walls when it is fully open. It can also be helpful to account for doors and hallways, making sure there is a clear path to the kitchen for easy installation. Doing this beforehand will ensure you are all set up to start shopping for your ideal refrigerator.
